Following on from the Government’s published roadmap dated 22nd February 2021 for the gradual and staged easing of lockdown restrictions in England and the LTA guidelines issued for re-opening of tennis in England, we are delighted to announce that we will be opening our outdoor courts from Monday 29 March at 07.00hrs. Our online booking system will be open from Monday 22 March at 07.00hrs for members to book.

Singles and doubles social play, 1:1 coaching and organised activity for groups will be permitted see  LTA latest summary update, nearer the time of re-opening, we will issue a set of rules (as previously provided) relevant to our Club.

In the spirit of allowing all of you the best playing opportunities, the one (1) hour play per day per member limit will apply. Also, on the same fellowship spirit, may we kindly ask that if you booked a court and you are unable to use, you ensure that it is cancelled in order to free up availability for another member to book and use.

The indoor facility and courts are to remain closed but there is a strong indication, subject to positive data, that with a week’s notice, we will be able to open up courts and facilities on 12 April. We believe, some restrictions again will be in place.

We shall keep you informed as we hear further updates from the Government and the LTA and issue guidelines relevant to our Club and our members.
