Coaching at Chandos
All coaches are excellent at teaching all levels of player, please see their specialist areas below. Demand for individual lessons is high so please contact individual coaches for their availability (see phone numbers below). Please note, we will allow a non member one lesson before the club requires membership. As a non member, each lesson is subject to a £40 coaching fee and a £12 per hour court fee if using an indoor court. Outdoor court fees are free. The indoor court fee should be paid prior to entering onto the court. Prospective members who do not want a lesson can have a free one-off 15 minute trial assessment with our Head Coach to outline the best tennis activities and opportunities that the club can offer to players of your experience and level. Our outdoor courts will be open for members use from Monday 29th March as per Covid-19 restrictions issued by our governing body, the LTA. Therefore to arrange an assessment or lesson in advance of joining, please fill in the ‘Join Us’ application form and you will be contacted to arrange as soon as possible. This will not be before 12 April with the understanding that we will be permitted on that date to re-open our indoor courts. Email our Head Coach Javier Romero at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
There can be high demand during peak times (after school and weekends) we would suggest that you email your details and times available to email@example.com so that we can put you on a waiting list. If our coaches become available they will contact you.
For any child under 10 taking private lessons, the club requires an annual membership of £45.
(Will be open for new members 1 June for Under 10 and Junior)
For any child over 10, wishing to have private lessons, the Junior Membership is required.
Please note that a waiting list is in operation for Under 10 and Junior categories – fill in the form and you will be notified of an opening when this becomes available.
