Well done to our Women’s team who performed creditably in the National Premier League Doubles Finals held a St George’s Hill Tennis club. The event included the best eight doubles teams in the UK and the Women won through the play off to reach the Finals. After reaching 2 matches all the team lost to
Denzell Darkey won the Invitational Winter National Tour 10 and under Finals.
The event took place at the prestigious National Centre in Roehampton by the Lawn Tennis Association.
16 players of the best players in the 10 and Under age group over the year were invited to play in the season finale.
Denzell kept his focus, winning all of his matches without dropping a set and won the final 4-3, 4-3 against Henry Hughes .

As part of our partnership, we will be holding clinics for the Academy to showcase their coaching techniques with their own coaches on court…
On 20th October 2019 Chandos Lawn Tennis Club hosted an invitational tennis competition in support of the sufferers of Motor Neuron Disease, including long time club member Simon Brennan.
The competition was run by head coach Javier Romero and thirty two eager teammates of Simon and other club members raised funds in support of this debilitating disease which has no known cure (yet).
CLUB FINALS RESULTS
Well played to all who made this a memorable tournament in 2019!
We had a whopping 144 entrants in all events. 167 Matches were played over 15 events from Under 8s to 60 and Over players!!
Thanks to all who showed up for an excellent Finals day played Indoors which added to the atmosphere where the Tennis was of a very high level.
This year’s quiz night was held last Sunday evening with Quiz Master, Toby testing us all with a selection of questions covering all aspects from Sport to Science to TV and History. Then our new chef Dana served a mouth watering buffet dinner that had us all talking about the delicious taste and aromatic smells of her beautifully presented food
Congratulations to sprightly 90 year old Lennie who showed the youngsters how to do it!, In the GB Seniors 85+ championship held at the All England Club he overcame the number 1 seed in the semi -finals in a champions tie-break final set to go on to take the Men’s Final in 2 sets.
Well done to our Middlesex Team Tennis Chandos players in 2019. Both came first in this Singles and Doubles event with some of the top teams in the County. They will now go on to represent Middlesex against the other home counties for a place in the Regional South East Division.
